The surgical quote is only part of the price. Run your full numbers in under a minute.
Enter the All-on-4 or All-on-X quote you were given abroad and a few details about the trip. We'll show you the real total in Canadian dollars, and compare it to our flat fee in Calgary.
| Line item | Amount (CAD) |
|---|---|
| True total abroad | $0 |
Every figure above is editable under Assumptions behind this estimate, and each line shows the arithmetic it came from. Our defaults are average round-trip flight and accommodation costs from Calgary for the country you selected, $100 a day in ground costs, and 10% of the surgical quote for add-ons commonly billed on arrival. Both columns are counted the same way: the Calgary total adds your days off work and travel on top of the flat fee, using the same daily income figure. The flat fee covers surgery, sedation, temporary prosthesis, final zirconia bridge, and every follow-up in year one; from year two the Care Plan is $600 a year — see the maintenance section.

The cheapest quote isn't always
the cheapest treatment.
Most overseas All-on-4 quotes are for an acrylic hybrid prosthesis — the cheaper material most clinics abroad default to. In Canada, zirconia is the premium standard for the final restoration. The price gap looks attractive until you account for what acrylic actually costs over the next decade.
If your overseas quote is for acrylic and your Calgary quote is for zirconia, you aren't comparing the same thing. The cheaper bridge today is often the more expensive bridge a decade from now — and that’s before flights for the remake.
Most patients assume local care is always more expensive. For straightforward cases, sometimes that's true. For full-arch work, three things flip the math.
Some patients will go abroad whatever the math says. If that's you, we'd rather you go prepared. These are the questions we'd want answered, in writing, before anyone we know booked a flight.
Bring the answers to a free consultation. We'll tell you whether they're good answers — even if that means the clinic abroad checks out.
